For God, people and earth

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord"

Saint Paul

The well-known Beatles song tells us that love is all we need, but the bible doesn't quite agree:
So, these three remain: faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of these is love.
1 corinthians chapter 13
Christians believe that God is love.
These words from the hymn 'Here is love, vast as the ocean' summarise how the cross of Jesus makes the immensity of God's love and mercy available to us all:
On the mount of crucifixion,
fountains opened deep and wide.
Through the floodgates of God's mercy,
flowed a vast and gracious tide.
Grace and love, like mighty rivers,
poured incessant from above,
and heaven's peace
and perfect justice,
kissed a guilty world in love.
